Expect a safe space for you to be you and to feel what you need to feel without judgement or fear of consequences. We do not tolerate hate of any kind here. How early should I arrive to my smash session? We're from the late 1900s when on time was late and 15 minutes early was on time. We ask that you be mindful of your scheduled time and plan accordingly. We are in Bryant and the traffic getting here (and out) can be a booger depending on the time of day. There are safety things to do prior to letting you loose in the room so we do ask that you try to be here at least by your scheduled time, but 10 minutes prior would be awesome too. Unfortunately, because we do run on time slots, if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment without notifying us, we will have to move your appointment to the next available and convenient time slot and/or day.

Are there any clothing requirements?Yes - please have clothes on :) What we have found is that, in the cooler months, that long pants and long sleeve shirts (that you don't mind getting dirty and/or ripped) are the most comfortable and preferred attire. In the warmer months, we encourage folks to dress comfortably but again, in clothing you don't mind getting dirty/ripped. We have a selection of sizes ranging from Small to 3XL in coveralls that protect to the wrist and to the ankle. If you don't think you can fit any of the available sizes, then make sure to wear long pants and have a long sleeve shirt to put on when you get here. We have a locker room and a gender-neutral bathroom in which to change clothes if needed.
-
Are there shoe requirements?ABSOLUTELY! You must wear FULLY ENCLOSED SHOES to fully protect your feet. If the only pair of shoes you have to wear are slides, mules, opened back - you will have to sign an additional waiver releasing us from any responsibility regarding injuries you could sustain. Fully enclosed shoes that you do not care about getting dirty and/or ripped - you will be in a space full of dirt and dust and flying debris, don't wear your new kicks. We also advise against canvas shoes like Converse or Hey Dudes because the glass will go right through the canvas - I've seen it happen multiple times. Again, if that's all you have, that's fine but you will have to sign an additional waiver releasing us from any responsibility regarding any potential injuries. NO HEELS NO SANDALS
-
Can I take photos?ABSOLUTELY!! You are more than welcome to take pictures of your group and your session. Please make sure that you are not photographing any other parties without their knowledge or permission. Your phone is your responsibility to keep up with during your session. There is a locker room with padlocked lockers in which to securely store any items you bring in. You may retrieve or put up your phone at any time during your session provided no other party is utilizing the locker room at that time. I am happy to take some before and after photos for you as well.
-

If you are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and you puke in my space, you will clean it up and barred for 30 days from booking. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE SUSPECTED TO BE INEBRIATED IN ANY FORM.
-

The Break Room is, first and foremost, a safe and inclusive space. We are members and allies of the LGBTQiA community. Here you can be you. The Break Room supports all communities of color and understands that this in no way changes the injustices done and is still being done to BIPOC individuals and communities. We only wish to provide a safe and inclusive space for all persons of any and all colors/identities to let out all that is stuffed inside.
